PILATES | STRENGTH | FUNCTIONAL | RECOVERY
one building, two studios, created to both calm + challenge your nervous system
we pride ourselves on being a welcoming space for everyone, no matter your ability or experience
RESISTANCE - contemporary mat pilates
Pilates with a little extra oomph
Resistance uses light weights or bands to add gentle tension, helping you feel muscles you didn't even know were working
It's slow, controlled and precise - more sculpt and stability than sweat + strain
SPICE - contemporary mat pilates
A slow burn kind of spice - playful, smooth and full body focussed
This class blends fun, uplifting energy with slow, controlled Pilates movements that build strength and confidence at your own pace
Expect gentle progressions with supportive challenge - You'll feel the burn, never rushed but always supported
FLOW - contemporary mat pilates
A gentle Pilates flow designed to help you slow down, breathe and move with intention
We combine light stretching with mindful, controlled movements that support mobility and relaxation, all rooted in core Pilates principles
Calm, inviting and ideal for beginners or those looking to switch off
SWEAT - hot mat pilates
Hot room. Spicy moves. Big glow.
Sweat blends our signature controlled, full-body Pilates style with serious heat. Expect strength, stamina and that deep, satisfying burn
It’s best suited to those who’ve experienced a DUO class before — think of this as your next level
POWER - strength meets mat
Power is our strength companion to our Pilates classes
Using heavier weights to help you build muscle, support your joints and feel stronger in your Pilates practice and day to day life
Whilst inspired by Pilates movement patterns, this one steps beyond the mat in to resistance based training
The perfect addition to create balance, strength and confidence
METHOD - functional
METHOD is DUO’s small group movement experience designed to help you feel strong, capable and energised.
Blending strength, cardio and functional movement, each session is built to challenge you in a supportive and welcoming environment — with options and adaptations that make METHOD accessible to every body and every starting point
DO i need to bring my own mat?
DUO provides mats as a complimentary service, however if you wish to bring your own mat you are more than welcome to do so.
WHat should i wear?
You should wear whatever you feel comfortable in + ensure you can move easily in your clothing. It is advisable to wear tighter fitting tops to avoid T-shirts falling in your face in downward facing movements.
We offer a completely judgement free space so please wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
How will a class look?
You will be welcomed in to the studio + if you have any reservations or if you’re feeling nervous in any way we will look to put you at ease. We are a very friendly bunch.
All sessions begin with alignment + breath work as it is fundamental to our practice. This will move in to a warm up, followed by the main body of the workout + we will always finish with a gentle cool down, stretching off specific muscles we have worked throughout the session.
Do i need to be fit / flexible to start?
Absolutely not, everyone has a different starting point in their journey + DUO will always meet you where you are + guide you from there.
Pilates is for everyone, you do not have to be fit, flexible, have matching gym sets, or drink matcha to join in. Simply step through the door + we will figure the rest out together.
